We would like to introduce you to one of our clients, Mourne Mountain Rescue Team. The charity was founded in 1962 and is currently made up of 36 volunteers from all walks of life who live close to the Mourne mountains. The team all have some form of mountaineering or hillwalking background and they want to give back their time, expertise and support to those in need in the mountains – voluntarily.
Supported Giving are working with Mourne Mountain Rescue Team to help with their fundraising from a number of locations in and around the Mourne Mountains. Not only do they use QR codes for fundraising, but also to provide invaluable information on mountain safety. Since starting their journey with Supported Giving, they have taken thousands of donations through QR to donate, both from QR codes on the mountain and via their website donate button.
